Your chemical supplier should be able to properly program your machine in order to make their chemicals work as they were designed. Selecting the proper agitation and water temperature in addition to wash times varies with every chemical formulation. Proper wash formulation is the key part of a quality wash and reduced utility costs. Machinex can work with your chemical supplier to insure they know how to program the machine properly.
Brown spots that appear on the linen, or a yellowing of the linen is generally an indication that chemicals have either been overdosed or the rinse cycle was not complete. These spots should generally disappear after the next wash but you are possibly using chemicals in excess and could save money and improve your quality. |

Soft Mount vs. Hard Mount
Traditional washers are hard mount, meaning they have no suspension system. The forces generated during the spin, or extraction cycle, are absorbed by the frame and transmitted to a concrete slab that the washer is anchored to. Typically, these washers don’t spin as fast as soft mount washers and they require more time and material to install.
Soft mount washers have their own suspension system and can be installed anywhere the floor can support there weight. Because these units have a suspension system, they can spin, or extract, much faster. The benefit to you is more water removal in the washer where its less expensive, and less time in the dryer where not only is more energy and cost incurred but more damage is done to the linen. |
