Steam Traps tend to be installed and forgotten. Only when the press buck gets wet or the press won’t heat up are they changed. In the meantime, many of your traps could be malfunctioning or blowing through which means lots of steam is wasted and consequently natural gas is wasted to heat the steam that’s being pumped out your return tank exhaust.
