Gear Cleaned per Gear Washer Capacity
Some fire departments size based on needing to do a certain number of gear sets in a limited amount of time. You may have full time firefighters pulling a 24 hour shift and are assigned to clean a certain number of bunker gear sets. Here is the breakdown based on machine capacity.
Remember, shells should be washed with shells and liners with liners. The materials are different and will behave differently in the gear washer. Moreover they will clean better and extract more effectively if grouped together.
